Ward Churchill and Historical Revisionism
I admit I wasn't really prepared to argue the Korean War, but it's amazing to me how these lefties can simply omit the existence of the Soviet Union and People's Republic of China from all United States foreign policy decisions of the last 60 years. I suppose they want us to forget that socialism/communism has failed every time it's been tried.
So in this instance, I shook my head when Churchill blamed the Korean War on the United States (the U.S. didn't even have any significant military presence in Korean at the time of the war's outbreak). Seeing me shake my head - as I'd been doing for much of his lecture - he asked me "No?" And I explained my objection. He later accused me of interrupting him, which I hadn't done, and when I corrected him and explained that he started talking to me, he ridiculed my assertion. You be the judge.
